BSNL to offer truly unlimited calling without FUP: Report

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is all set to offer truly unlimited calling without FUP conditions effective tomorrow according to a KeralaTelecom report. The report states that BSNL has decided to scrap the FUP limit of 250 minutes per day for the unlimited voice facility from 10th January 2021 under GSM prepaid and postpaid services.

The company will offer truly unlimited calling across India effective tomorrow according to the report that states BSNL has done away with the FUP cap post the scrapping of the IUC regime by TRAI earlier this year. BSNL had brought in the 250 minutes per day FUP cap back in August 2019 applicable to plan vouchers, combo vouchers, and special tariff vouchers.

While BSNL hasn’t put out any official announcement in the public domain regarding this matter, BSNL has announced the launch of STV 398 from tomorrow which will offer truly unlimited data and truly unlimited calling without any FUP condition. The company has also rationalized PV2399 to offer data benefits and OTT benefits along with no voice FUP condition.
