Xiaomi has officially launched its latest Redmi Note 9T and Redmi 9T smartphones. The Redmi Note 9T is a global variant of Redmi Note 9 5G that was recently launched in China while Redmi 9T is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G which debuted in China in November and came to India as Redmi 9 Power last month.

Redmi Note 9T Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner for the front camera. 

It is powered by an octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, with Mali G57 GPU, coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. The handset runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. 

For photography, there is a triple camera setup on the back which includes a 48MP Quad-Bayer sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a 13MP camera for selfies and video calling.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It has dual speakers, an anti-fingerprint back panel, and splash-proof nano-coating, the fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. 

Redmi 9T Specifications

The Redmi 9T sports a 6.53-inch IPS LCD full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels,19.5:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop-style notch. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage that supports expansion up to 512GB using a microSD card through a dedicated slot.

Coming to cameras, it has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, there is also an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

It comes with a big 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and reverse wired charging. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, IR blaster, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

Pricing

The Redmi Note 9T has been priced at EUR 229 (about Rs. 20,500) for the 4GB + 64GB storage option, whereas the 4GB + 128GB variant costs EUR 269 (about Rs. 24,100). It will be available in 2 colour options- Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple colour. 

The Redmi 9T price starts at EUR 159 (about Rs. 14,300) for the 4GB + 64GB storage option, the 4GB + 128GB comes with price tag of EUR 189 (roughly Rs. 17,000) and the the top 6GB + 128GB variant costs EUR 199 (roughly Rs. 17,900). This phone comes in 4 colour options: Carbon Gray, Twilight Blue, Sunrise Orange, and Ocean Green colours.
