Xiaomi 13 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 6.73-inch 2K display launched in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.73-inch quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 50-megapixel triple rear cameras co-engineered with Leica, 5G connectivity, and runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box with MIUI 14 customization on top. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

Xiaomi 13 Pro specifications

The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.73-inch quad-HD+ (3200 x 1440 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with up to 120Hz variable refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, and 1900 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4nm) chipset paired with Adreno 740 GPU, 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

Xiaomi 13 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 50-megapixel 115-degree ultra-wide ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 50-megapixel 3.2X telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone packs a non-removable 4820mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging technology.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS (L1+L5), NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, magnetometer, IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 162.9 × 74.6 × 8.38 mm and weighs 229 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Xiaomi 13 Pro is priced at Rs. 79,999 for the sole 12GB RAM and 256GB RAM variant. The phone comes in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White color options and will be available via the e-commerce website Amazon, Mi e-store, and Mi Home stores and Mi Retail Partners in the country starting March 10, 2023.
