Reliance Jio True 5G services now available in 25 more cities

Telecom service provider Reliance Jio has launched its True 5G services in 25 more cities across 12 states in India. The telco also launched 5G services in Jammu and Kashmir. The Honorable Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha launched Jio True 5G services in Jammu and Kashmir from Raj Bhawan in Jammu. With this launch, Jio True 5G services are now available across 304 cities in the country.

Here is the list of 25 cities where Reliance Jio True 5G services are now available:

• Andhra Pradesh – Anakapalli, Machilipatnam
• Bihar – Arrah, Begusarai, Bihar Sharif, Darbhanga, Purnia
• Chhattisgarh – Jagdalpur
• Gujarat – Vapi
• Himachal Pradesh – Baddi, Barotiwala, Nalagarh
• Jammu & Kashmir – Jammu, Srinagar
• Jharkhand – Katras
• Karnataka – Kolar
• Maharashtra – Beed, Chakan, Dhule, Jalna, Malegaon
• Tamil Nadu – Tirunelveli
• Uttar Pradesh – Barabanki
• Uttarakhand – Mussoorie
• West Bengal – Bardhaman, Berhampore, English Bazar, Habra, Kharagpur

At the launch event, Reliance Jio demonstrated the applications and benefits of True 5G services in the field of healthcare, education, and other key sectors of importance. The company also showcased the Community Clinic medical kit and AR-VR device, Jio Glass.

“We are excited to launch Jio True 5G in Jammu and Srinagar. By December 2023, Jio True 5G will cover every town of Jammu & Kashmir. This is testimony to Jio’s commitment towards the Government’s priorities. Jio has provided employment to more than 36,000 people directly and indirectly in Jammu & Kashmir. This launch is an important milestone for the people of Jammu & Kashmir who will benefit immensely from Jio’s 5G services. We are grateful to the Government for their continuous support in our quest to digitize Jammu & Kashmir,” said a Jio spokesperson.

“Additionally, we are happy to announce the launch of Jio True 5G services in 25 additional towns across 12 states in the country, taking the benefits and reach of Jio’s True 5G services to 304 towns across the nation. We want every Jio user to enjoy the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in 2023,” the spokesperson added.

Starting today, Reliance Jio customers with 5G smartphones in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to experience unlimited 5G mobile internet at up to 1 Gbps speeds at no additional cost.
