Vivo X100 and X100 Pro with 6.78-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC launched in India

The Vivo X100 price starts at Rs. 63,999, while the Vivo X100 Pro costs Rs. Rs. 89,999. Both smartphones are currently available for pre-booking and will be available from January 11.

Vivo has launched the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in India. Both smartphones feature a 6.78-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The Vivo X100 includes a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, whereas the Vivo X100 Pro has a 5400mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Both run on the Android 14 based Funtouch OS 14 operating system out of the box.

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro specifications

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K (2800 × 1260 pixels) LTPO curved AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, 2160Hz PWM dimming, up to 120Hz variable refresh rate, and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness. Both smartphones are powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9300 (4nm) chipset paired with Immortalis-G720 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Vivo X100 sports a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and OIS support, a 50-megapixel 150-degree ultrawide lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture and 100x digital zoom.

In contrast, the Vivo X100 Pro comes with a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS support, a 50-megapixel 120-degree ultrawide lens with f/2.0 aperture, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.5 aperture and 100x digital zoom. Both smartphones come with a 32-megapixel sensor on the front.

The Vivo X100 packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, while the Vivo X100 Pro is equipped with a 5400mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless and reverse wireless charging. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, proximity, magnetometer, color spectrum, and in-display optical fingerprint reader. Connectivity options include tri-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS L1+L5, dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

The Vivo X100 measures 164.05mm × 75.19mm × 8.49mm and weighs 206 grams, while the Vivo X100 Pro measures 164.05mm × 75.28mm × 8.91mm and weighs 225 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Vivo X100 is priced at Rs. 63,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model costs Rs. 69,999. It comes in Asteroid Black and Startrail Blue color options. On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro is priced at Rs. 89,999 for the sole 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. It comes in an Asteroid Black color option.

Both smartphones are currently available for pre-booking and will go on sale starting January 11, 2024, via Flipkart, Vivo e-store, and leading retail stores in India. Customers pre-booking the phone using SBI or HDFC bank cards can get up to 10 percent instant discounts and up to Rs. 8,000 exchange bonus.
