Vivo V17 with punch-hole display and 4500mAh battery launched in India

Chinese phone manufacturer Vivo has launched Vivo V17 at an event in New Delhi, India. The phone will go on sale starting December 17. The Vivo V17 is priced at Rs. 22,990. It comes in two color options - Midnight Black and Glacier Ice White.

Chinese phone manufacturer Vivo has launched Vivo V17 at an event in New Delhi, India. The phone will go on sale starting on December 17. The Vivo V17 is priced at Rs. 22,990. It comes in two color options – Midnight Black and Glacier Ice White.

Vivo V17 features a 6.44-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole selfie camera. It has a 91.38 percent screen to body ratio and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display supports 100 percent DCI-P3 Color gamut.

The phone runs on a Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675 (11 nm) chipset. It has Adreno 612 graphics processing unit. Vivo V17 comes with 8 GB Ram and 128 GB internal storage. It also has a MicroSD card slot that uses a shared SIM slot. It supports up to 256 GB microSD cards. For connectivity, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C for charging and USB On-the-Go.

For photography, it features an L-shaped quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP main sensor, 8 MP super wide-angle camera, 2 MP dedicated macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor. It has a 32 MP front-facing camera. The phone is powered by a non-removable 4500mAh lithium-polymer battery. It supports 18W fast charging technology. The phone runs Funtouch OS 9.2 out of the box, which is based on Android Pie (9.0).

Vivo is offering 5 percent cash back on payments done via HDFC and ICICI credit cards and EMI. The company is also offering no-cost EMI for up to 12 months. Vivo V17 is now available for pre-booking on the Vivo India E-Store.
