Vi (Vodafone Idea) has extended the support of its recently launched Wi-Fi calling service to select Oppo and Samsung handsets. Vi Wi-Calling service now supports select handsets from Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi, and OnePlus. The service continues to be available in limited cities to all Vi prepaid and postpaid customers in Maharashtra & Goa, Kolkata, Gujarat, Delhi and Mumbai.

Vi Wi-Fi calling offers extended indoor coverage and clear call quality with no call drops at home or office while connected to a Wi-Fi. Vi is expanding the availability of the service on a circle-to-circle basis.
3 oppo and 1 samsung. Wow what a fastest way to work!! iPhones users are porting out due to their indoor calling issue and still not providing with wifi calling support.
I am using iPhone and so many time i have raised a complaint to add VoWifi support in it. They just give copy pasted reply “Soon”
But no ETA.
It is so easy to add support in iPhones because you dont need to push OTA updates like androids. Just a 5-10kb network configuration update under about phone is enough.
Still they are going with this pace. Their eSim is buggy too. Neither it is stable nor it lets the physical sim to be one..
