Samsung launched the Galaxy A05s smartphone in India in October 2023. Now, the company has launched the 4GB RAM variant of the smartphone. The phone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ PLS LCD, Snapdragon 680 SoC, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a 5000mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Samsung Galaxy A05s runs on the Android 13 operating system with One UI Core customization on top. The phone will receive two OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates.

Samsung Galaxy A05s features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (6nm) chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. The phone also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A05s sports a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 168.0mm x 77.8mm x 8.8mm and weighs 194 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy A05s is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 14,999. The phone comes in Light Green, Light Violet, and Black color options and will be available to purchase via the Samsung e-store and retail stores in the country.

Can't even blame Samsung for launching garbage like this. As people are still buying them in huge numbers. My friend recently bought Galaxy A13 at full price from offline store. He is not my friend anymore.
