Realme 10 with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Realme has launched the Realme 10 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 5000mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and runs on the Android 12 operating system with Realme UI 3.0 customization on top. Realme 10 also comes with a Dynamic RAM feature that uses onboard storage to provide up to 8GB of additional virtual RAM.

Realme 10 specifications

The Realme 10 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (2400 × 1080 pixel) Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 98-percent NTSC color gamut, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1000nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 6nm chipset paired with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The phone also supports a microSD card via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme 10 sports a dual rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel sensor on the front with an f/2.5 aperture lens. The phone is equipped with a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.3, GPS, 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 159.9 x 73.3 x 7.95 mm and weighs 178 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Realme 10 is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at 16,999. As a part of the introductory offer, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be available for Rs. 12,999. The phone comes in Clash White and Rush Black color options, and it will be available via Realme India e-store, Flipkart, and retail stores in India starting January 15, 2023, at noon.
