Realme 12 Pro, Realme 12 Pro+ with 6.7-inch full-HD+ display launched in India

The Realme 12 Pro price starts at Rs. 25,999, while the Realme 12 Pro+ price starts at Rs. 29,999. Both smartphones will go on sale via Flipkart and Realme website from February 6, 2024.

Realme 12 Pro series

Realme has launched the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones in India. Both smartphones feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display, a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The Realme 12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Soc, while the Realme 12 Pro+ has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The smartphones run on the Android 14 operating system out of the box with Realme UI 6.0 customization on top. They also come with an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Realme 12 Pro specifications

The Realme 12 Pro features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 950 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4nm) chipset paired with Adreno 710 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme 12 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with f/ 2.2 aperture, and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 2X telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor housed in the hole-punch display. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, magnetometer, and an in-display optical fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 161.47mm × 74.02mm × 8.75mm and weighs 190 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Realme 12 Pro is priced at Rs. 25,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 26,999. It comes in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue color options.

In contrast, the Realme 12 Pro+ costs Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, whereas the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 31,999. The top variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 33,999. The phone comes in Navigator Beige, Submarine Blue, and Explorer Red color options.

Both smartphones will be available via Flipkart and Realme e-store starting February 6, 2024, at 12 PM IST. Further, the phone will be available in an early access sale today through the company website.
