Oppo A58 4G with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Oppo has launched the Oppo A58 4G smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Oppo A58 4G runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box with ColorOS 13.1 customization on top.

The Oppo A58 4G features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and up to 680 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. It supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.

In terms of optics, the Oppo A58 4G sports a dual-rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel camera on the front with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone port, and a USB Type-C port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, magnetometer, ambient light, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 165.65mm x 75.98mm x 7.99mm and weighs 192 grams.

The Oppo A58 4G is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Black and Green color options and is available to purchase via Flipkart in India. Customers can get discounts with select bank cards, including ICICI, Kotak, and HDFC.
