State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has reformulated the charges levied for external shifting and name transfer of Voice/Broadband (LL, Standalone, Combo) services under Cu/Fibre/BBoWiFi/Bharat Air Fiber category in all the circles.
For external shifting of voice/broadband connection (LL, Standalone, Combo) under Cu category as per feasibility BSNL will charge Rs 250 per external shift. For external shifting of voice/broadband connection (LL, Standalone, Combo) under Fibre category as per feasibility BSNL will charge Rs 500 per external shift. For external shifting of voice/broadband connection (LL, Standalone, Combo) under BBoWiFi, Bharat Air Fiber category as per feasibility BSNL will charge Rs 500 per external shift.
BSNL will charge Rs 250 per occasion for name transfer under Cu/Fibre/BBoWiFi/Bharat Air Fiber connection category. The shifting charges will be applicable separately for Landline and Broadband in case of shifting of standalone connections i.e for Landline and Broadband. The commission/revenue share is payable to franchisee/TIPs/Partners from the above external shifting charges.
The shifting of the above services will only be allowed to the places where service is being provided by BSNL with no shifting possible if the services are not available at the new location where shifting is required to be implemented.
