State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Punjab has launched FRC 106 and FRC 107 with effect from January 27, 2020. New BSNL customers need to recharge with Rs. 106 to activate per second plan, or Rs. 107 to activate per minute plan. Migration or extension of the same plan can be done through a recharge of PV- 74 or PV- 75.
BSNL FRC 106
FRC- 106 offers unlimited local, national, and roaming calls to any network, including MTNL, for 24 days. The unlimited calling comes with a FUP of 250 minutes per day after that calls will be charged at base tariff plan for the rest of the day till midnight. It also offers unlimited 1 GB per day data and 100 SMS per day for 24 days. After exhausting 1 GB data, speed gets throttled to 40 Kbps.
After freebies, local, and national voice call costs Rs. 0.014 per second to any network. Video calling cost Rs. 0.040 per second. Local SMS cost Rs. 0.80 per SMS, national SMS cost Rs. 1.20 per SMS and international SMS cost Rs. 5 per SMS. Data usage cost Rs. 0.25 per MB. Initial plan validity is 180 days, and migration or extension of the plan can be done through a recharge of PV- 74.

Initial plan validity is 180 days, and migration or extension of the plan can be done through a recharge of PV- 75.
On recharging with validity extension PV- 74 or PV- 75, customers will get 2 GB free data, 100 minutes free voice calls in Home licensed service area and national roaming for 15 days. Customers will also get a personalized ring back tone (PRBT) signature tune for 60 days.
State-owned BSNL has recently launched FRC 108 for new subscribers in North East (NE-1) circle. The plan is valid for 28 days and offers unlimited calls and data.
