BSNL Chennai revises international prepaid roaming tariff in select countries

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) last month revised the international prepaid roaming facility tariff in select countries effective 1st October 2020 and valid till 31st December 2020. The revision is effective for Chennai Telephones and Tamil Nadu circle customers.

The revision has happened for UAE, USA, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Qatar, Oman, Nepal, Myanmar, Japan, Bangladesh, Brazil, CANBM, Finland, Russia, Puerto Rico, Indonesia, Singapore, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland, Belgium, Iceland, Poland, Mauritius, Vietnam, Greece, Germany, Azerbaijan, Macau, Denmark, Maldives, Malaysia, and Montenegro across multiple operators.

The tariffs are for basic voice and data calls with international roaming service requiring customers to replace their existing prepaid SIM and collect new international roaming SIM at CSC. The international roaming facility will be available to the pre-paid Customers only after activation of the STV IR57 which is applicable to the existing international Pre-paid roamers also.
