Amazon India has launched Gift of Prime which allows users to gift Amazon Prime membership to friends and family over email. Prime Membership has many benefits that include free one-day delivery on items ordered via Amazon, free access to Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading on Kindle, and more.
Consumers can purchase the Gift of Prime for friends and family, they can search for Gift for Prime on Amazon websites and mobile apps by paying Rs 999 as same the price of annual prime membership. Users are only allowed to gift annual prime membership and have no option for gifting monthly subscriptions.
Users must provide the email id of the gift card recipient and name of the sender before payment. Amazon also allows to sender to include a personalized message with the gift card. If the recipient doesn’t redeem the gift card, the sender can gift the same to others from the orders section.
