Vi’s Rs 148 prepaid plan now available in 4 telecom circles

Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has expanded the availability of its Rs 148 prepaid plan making it available in four telecom circles whereas earlier the recently introduced prepaid plan was restricted to merely three telecom circles. Vi has introduced the Rs 148 plan in Chennai and Tamil Nadu (excluding Chennai) circles recently allowing Vi customers in that circle to subscriber to the prepaid plan. The prepaid plan is now available in Delhi, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, and Tamil Nadu (except Chennai).

Vi’s Rs 148 prepaid plan offers truly unlimited calling, 1GB high-speed data per day, 100 SMS per day with a validity of 18 days. The prepaid plan only offers teleco benefits and no access to any non-teleco benefits such as Vi Movies and TV.

The prepaid plan was initially launched in Gujarat in November 2020 exclusively post which Vi subsequently expanded the prepaid plan to Delhi and Andhra Pradesh. The prepaid plan remains limited to select circles across the country.

In other news, Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) is apparently offering 50GB extra on its high-end prepaid plan at Rs 2595 to select prepaid customers. The company has highlighted the extra data offer within the Vi app.
