Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has today expanded the availability of its recently launched Rs 148 prepaid plan by making it available in the country’s capital Delhi making the plan available to more Vi customers. The prepaid plan went live on the Delhi microsite for Vi’s prepaid plans listings in the last few hours.
Vi’s Rs 148 prepaid plan offers truly unlimited local and national calls to all networks, 1GB high-speed data per day, and 100 local and national SMS per day. The prepaid comes with a validity of 18 days. On the non-teleco benefits side, you get access to Vi Movies and TV content.
The prepaid plan is Rs 1 cheaper than Vi’s Rs 149 prepaid plan which offers bulk data and unlimited calling benefits whereas this prepaid plan comes with daily data cap while also offering unlimited calling benefits.
OnlyTech had on Thursday reported the introduction of the prepaid plan which was initially exclusive to Gujarat LSA until today. Vi now has expanded the prepaid plan to Delhi for the time being. It remains to be seen as to whether the same is further expanded or not.
For the unaware, Vi has also last week expanded the availability of its Rs 99 prepaid plan across the country making it available in all LSAs.
