Vi partners with Motorola to enable 5G across its devices

According to the statement, Motorola has tested its latest and most popular 5G smartphones on 3350 MHz to 3400 MHz spectrum bands on Vi 5G network in New Delhi.

Telecom service provider Vodafone Idea (Vi) has partnered with Motorola to provide seamless 5G connectivity across Motorola’s 5G smartphone portfolio in India. The telco has been building various use cases for enterprises and consumers in the country to deliver a better-connected 5G ecosystem to its customers by showcasing the prospects that 5G would offer.

Commenting on the partnership, Avneesh Khosla, CMO, Vi said “Vi remains committed to playing a significant role in realizing the Digital India dream. We are happy to partner with Motorola in one more step toward our 5G rollout. We believe that the partnership will help develop the 5G device ecosystem, helping more Vi customers upgrade to a superior 5 G-ready smartphone in time for service rollout”.

According to the statement, Motorola has tested its latest and most popular 5G smartphones on 3350 MHz to 3400 MHz spectrum bands on Vi 5G network in New Delhi. Further, it states that Motorola 5G devices include support for 11 to 13 5G bands, which is the highest in the industry. Motorola’s 5G devices portfolio, including the affordable Moto G62 5G, comes with advanced hardware and software capabilities to deliver the most reliable, fast, secure, and comprehensive 5G coverage through technologies like 3 Carrier Aggregation, 4X4 MIMO, and more.

“At Motorola, we believe in delivering meaningful consumer innovations. Motorola smartphones give an exceptionally reliable, optimized, and fast 5G experience across price points, staying true to our commitment of giving the most comprehensive, no-compromise 5G smartphone portfolio to Indian consumers with support for up to 13 5G bands, across price points. We are delighted to partner with Vi with a vision to take 5G to millions of Indian consumers,” said Prashanth Mani, Executive Director, of Motorola Asia Pacific.

Motorola claims that its 5G smartphones support all-India 5G bands, irrespective of price tier, and ensure reliable connectivity across urban and rural areas in the country. Additionally, all Motorola 5G smartphones include the proprietary Motorola solution of ThinkShield for mobile to deliver a secure experience to its customers. They are also SAR tested and certified.

Motorola devices enabled with Vi 5G are Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, Moto G62 5G, Motorola Edge 30, Moto G82 5G, Motorola Edge 30 Pro, Moto G71 5G, Moto G51 5G, Motorola Edge 20, Motorola Edge 20 Pro, and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion.

but to retain, they need investment in network, which means extra money.

but last 6month vi cant able to grab single sinvestor, nor promoter.

so vi think they can make themself 5G ready so new investor can put his/her hard money to make vi floating.

its like put less than crores to show potential to get capital worth 100 cores.
