Vi introduces Entertainment Plus 699 F and REDX Family plans in Chennai & TN, Kolkata, and Maharashtra & Goa

Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has recently expanded the availability of its recently launched new Family postpaid plans – ‘Entertainment Plus 699 F‘ and ‘REDX Family‘. The new postpaid plans introduced under the banner of ‘Family-New’ were initially limited to the circle of UP East when Vi launched both the plans in December 2020.

Vi has now expanded both the plans to Chennai & TN, Kolkata, and Maharashtra & Goa making the postpaid plans available in four telecom circles. The expansion comes with the implementation of price hikes in these circles with the roll-out of ‘Family-New’ postpaid plans.

Vi’s Entertainment Plus 699 F offers upto 5 lines including 1 primary, unlimited primary data, 30GB secondary data with rollover upto 30GB for the each secondary connection. The family postpaid plan also offers unlimited calling, 100 primary and secondary SMS per month, Vi Movies and TV access for both primary and secondary, Amazon Prime and ZEE5 Premium access for primary connection at a monthly rental of Rs 699 for primary connection and Rs 249 each for every secondary connection. With 2 lines including 1 primary, the monthly rental comes to Rs 948.

Vi’s REDX Family plan offers 1 year Netflix access for primary connection on top of everything Vi’s Entertainment Plus 699 F plan offers. The monthly rental costs Rs 1099 for the primary connection and Rs 249 each for every secondary connection. With two lines including 1 primary, the monthly rental comes to Rs 1348.

Both the postpaid plans are subject to Vi’s Commercial Usage Policy which was brought in on 9th May 2020 wherein the data usage by any individual on GSM postpaid plans having Unlimited Data and Voice benefits having greater than 150 GB along with voice usage less than 50 minutes in a billing cycle will be termed as a commercial user.
