Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra launched in India; price starts at Rs. 72,999

Samsung, on Thursday, has launched the Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in India at an online event. Last week, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, the company unveiled the Galaxy S22 series as the successor to the previous year’s Galaxy S21 series smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S22 series will receive four major Android updates and five years of security updates.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series pricing, offers, and availability

Samsung Galaxy S22 is priced at Rs. 72,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs. 76,999. The smartphone comes in Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Green color options.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ is priced at Rs. 84,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration costs Rs. 88,999. Samsung Galaxy S22+ is available in Phantom Black, Phantom White, and Green color options.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 1,09,999, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant costs Rs. 1,18,999. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model comes in Burgundy, Phantom Black, and Phantom White color options, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant comes in Burgundy and Phantom Black color options.

Pre-booking for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones will commence in India from February 23, 2022. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy S22 Ultra will get Galaxy Watch 4 worth Rs. 26,999 at Rs. 2999. In contrast, customers pre-booking the Galaxy S22, or the Galaxy S22+ will get Galaxy Buds 2 worth Rs. 11,999 at Rs. 999.

Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series customers will get an upgrade bonus worth Rs. 8000, while the other customers will get an upgrade bonus of Rs. 5000. Customers can also opt to purchase Galaxy S22 series via Samsung Finance+, to get a cashback worth Rs. 5000.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone will be available for pre-booking via Samsung online store, Samsung Exclusive stores, Amazon India, and all leading retail stores in India from February 23, 2022, to March 10, 2022. Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones will go on sale in the country starting March 11, 2022.
