Realme has launched the Realme C53 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.74-inch HD+ display, UNISOC T612 SoC, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The Realme C53 runs on the Android 13 operating system with Realme UI T Edition customization on top.

The Realme C53 features a 6.74-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 560 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T612 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G57 GPU, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 2TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.
In terms of optics, the Realme C53 sports a dual-rear camera setup of a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an unspecified secondary sensor. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera housed in the waterdrop notch display. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, dual 4G VoLTE, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone port, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 167.2mm × 76.7mm × 7.99mm and weighs 186 grams.
Pricing and availability
The Realme C53 is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model cost Rs. 10,999. The phone comes in Champion Golden and Champion Black color options and will be available via the Realme website, Flipkart, and retail stores in India starting July 26, 2023, at noon.
The company is hosting an early sale of the smartphone on July 19 between 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM IST. Customers purchasing the phone using ICICI, SBI, and HDFC credit cards can receive a discount of Rs. 500.
