OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro: Specifications, Pricing, and Availability

In February 2023, OnePlus unveiled its first mechanical keyboard, the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro. Now, the company has revealed the pricing and availability of the keyboard. OnePlus partnered with keyboard manufacturer, Keychron, to build the Keyboard 81 Pro. The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is a 75-percent laptop-style keyboard and includes a programmable rotary knob.

OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro specifications

The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro comes in two variants- the Winter Bonfire and Summer Breeze. The Winter Bonfire version comes in Dark grey color with PBT keycaps and optimized tactile switches. On the other hand, the Summer Breeze variant comes in Light grey color with Marble-mallow keycaps and linear switches. The keyboard switches are hot-swappable and come with south-facing RGB. It supports open-source firmware.

The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is compatible with MacOS, Windows, Linux, and Android. The keyboard supports wired USB Type-C and wireless Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. It packs a 4000mAh battery that can deliver up to 100 hours of runtime at the lowest brightness. The charging time is around 5 hours.

The keyboard measures 33.83cm x 15.05cm x 4.73cm and weighs 1887 grams.

Pricing and availability

The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro Winter Bonfire version is priced at Rs. 17,999, while the Summer Breeze variant costs Rs. 19,999. It is currently available to purchase as an early access sale in India through the OnePlus website but requires an invitation code. The keyboard will go on sale in the country via the OnePlus website from August 7, 2023, at 12 PM IST.
