MTNL to close special services of MTNL Landline from 10th January 2021

State-owned telecommunications service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) is working towards the closure of special service of MTNL Landline from 10th January 2021, the company stated on its MTNL Delhi website.

MTNL has stated that MTNL accessory services – 177, 1582/182, 1583/183, and 1951/1952 are headed towards closure from 10th January 2021. MTNL has urged its customers to dial 1130/1500 which is the toll-free consumer care number or write on [email protected] for any further queries.

“MTNL accessory services – 177, 1582/182, 1583/183, and 1951/1952 are going to be closed from 10th January 2021. for any query, please dial 1130/1500 or write on [email protected],” a notice on MTNL Delhi‘s website read.

1951/1952 accessory service currently functions as Changed Number Inquiry Service IVRS with ‘1951’ for Hindi and ‘1952’ for English. 177 accessory service currently functions as Hindi Vishesh Sewa IVRS. 1582/182 accessory service currently functions as STD Code Enquiry while 1583/183 accessory service currently functions as Inland Trunk Information ICRS.
