Motorola has launched the Moto G34 5G smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 50-megapixel primary sensor, stereo speakers, and a 5000mAh battery. Furthermore, the Moto G34 5G runs on the Android 14 operating system out of the box with My UX customization on top. The company will offer one major OS upgrade and three years of security updates.

Moto G34 5G specifications

The Moto G34 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 Pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 (6nm) chipset paired with Adreno 619 GPU, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB for expandable storage but uses a shared SIM slot.

In terms of optics, the Moto G34 5G sports a dual-rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For taking selfies and making video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor housed in the hole-punch display. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 20W turbocharging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 162.7mm x 74.6mm x 8mm and weighs 180 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Moto G34 5G is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs Rs. 11,999. The phone comes in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue, and Ocean Green (with vegan leather back) color options. Moto G34 5G will be available to purchase via Flipkart, Motorola website, and retail stores in India starting January 17, 2024.

Moto not bloatware free anymore?

It's been like that since a year on their under 20k smartphones (G and E series). They even gave an official statement regarding it.
