Boat Lunar Pro LTE

Homegrown wearables brand Boat unveiled the Lunar Pro LTE smartwatch in December 2023. Now, the watch is available to purchase for a launch price of Rs. 9,999 in India. Boat Lunar Pro LTE features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and comes with Jio and Airtel eSIM cellular connectivity. Further, it is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

Boat Lunar Pro LTE specifications

The Boat Lunar Pro LTE features a 1.39-inch always-on AMOLED display and supports customizable watch faces. It also comes with Bluetooth version 5.2 for calling and app notifications. Further, it supports LTE calling through built-in eSIM. Health monitoring features include a heart rate sensor, blood-oxygen (SpO2) sensor, daily activity, menstrual tracker, sleep patterns, and guided breathing. It also supports over 100 sports modes.

In addition, the Boat Lunar Pro LTE has built-in GPS for location tracking and outdoor activities. The smartwatch comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Further, it packs a 577mAh battery that can deliver up to seven days of battery life or up to two days with e-SIM enabled on a single charge.

How to convert physical Jio SIM to eSIM

To convert the existing Jio SIM to eSIM, users first need to insert the new SIM in their smartphone and connect the smartwatch to the Boat LTE app. Then, open the SMS app and type: GETSIM <smartwatch EID number> <IMEI number> and send it to 199. Next, users will receive a QR code on their email ID registered with Jio SIM. Then, go to Boat LTE app -> Devices -> eSIM Management -> tap on Jio. Lastly, select the QR code scan option and scan the code. After the e-SIM is added to the smartwatch users will have to restart it. Alternatively, users can visit the Jio store to activate e-SIM on the Lunar Pro LTE smartwatch.

How to convert physical Airtel SIM to eSIM

To convert the physical Airtel SIM to eSIM, users need to open the Boat LTE app and navigate to eSIM Management. Then, select Airtel and copy the 32-digit EID number to the smartwatch. After that, open the Airtel Thanks app and click Upgrade to eSIM option. Enter the Airtel phone number, select Another Device, enter the 32-digit EID number, and tap Get SIM via OTP. After the e-SIM conversion, users will have to restart their smartwatch. Alternatively, users can visit the Airtel store to activate e-SIM on the Lunar Pro LTE smartwatch.

The boat Lunar Pro LTE is available to purchase at a launch price of Rs. 9,999. It comes in Sleek Black and Refined Brown color options and is available through Flipkart, Boat e-store, and Lifestyle website in India. The company is offering a Jio prepaid plan worth Rs. 399 with three months of validity for free on buying a new Jio SIM card for the smartwatch.
