Moto G13 with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 50-megapixel rear camera, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Motorola has launched the Moto G13 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.5-inch 90Hz HD+ display, MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 5000mAh battery, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Further, the phone comes with an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance. Moto G13 runs on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.

Moto G13 specifications

The Moto G13 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 Pixels) LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 576Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB of microSD card for expandable storage.

In terms of optics, the Moto G13 sports a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone packs a non-removable 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via a USB Type-C port.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, dual 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 162.7 x 74.66 x 8.19 mm and weighs around 170 grams.

Pricing and availability

The Moto G13 is priced at Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 9,999. The phone comes in Matte Charcoal and Blue Lavender color options and will be available via Flipkart and leading retail stores in India starting April 5, 2023.
