Lava has launched the Lava Blaze 2 smartphone in India. The phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz display, Unisoc T616 Octa-Core SoC, 6GB of RAM with 5GB of additional virtual RAM, dual-rear cameras, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. Further, the Lava Blaze 2 runs on the Android 12 operating system out of the box.

Lava Blaze 2 specifications

The Lava Blaze 2 features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 × 720 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T616 (12nm) chipset paired with Mali-G57 GPU, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 1TB via a dedicated slot for expandable storage.

In terms of optics, the Lava Blaze 2 sports a dual-rear camera setup of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For taking selfies and making video calls, it has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ Glonass, 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 164.96 × 76.1 × 8.6 mm and weighs 203 grams.

The Lava Blaze 2 is priced at Rs. 8999 for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Glass Blue, Glass Black, and Glass Orange color options and will be available through the Amazon India website and Lava e-store starting April 18, 2023.
