JioBook 4G 2023 laptop with 11.6-inch anti-glare HD display, 4G connectivity launched in India

Reliance Jio, on Monday, launched the JioBook 4G 2023 laptop in India. The laptop features an 11.6-inch anti-glare HD display, MediaTek MT8788 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and a 4000mAh battery. It runs on the JioOS operating system and comes with 100GB of Digiboxx cloud storage for a year at no additional cost.

JioBook 4G 2023 specifications

The JioBook 4G 2023 features an 11.6-inch anti-glare HD (1366 x 768 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The laptop is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT8788 chipset paired with Arm Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB of eMMC onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card of up to 256GB for expandable storage.

The JioBook 4G 2023 runs on the JioOS operating system and comes with pre-installed apps, such as JioBIAN- Linux-based coding software, JioPages web browser, JioCloudGames, and JioMeet. Furthermore, it includes 100GB of Digiboxx cloud storage for a year at no extra cost and one year of Quick Heal Antivirus protection with advanced parental control.

The laptop is equipped with a 2-megapixel HD Webcam and stereo speakers. Moreover, it has Infinity Keyboard that supports over 75 keyboard shortcuts and Large Trackpad for enhanced and efficient workflow. JioBook 4G 2023 packs a 4000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB ports, a mini-HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio port. Lastly, the laptop measures 273mm x190mm x 16.3mm and weighs 990 grams.

Pricing and availability

The JioBook 4G 2023 is priced at Rs. 16,499 for the sole 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The laptop comes in a single JioBlue color option and will be available to purchase via Reliance Digital, Amazon, and retail stores in India starting August 5, 2023.
