Discovery+, a real-life entertainment streamer is testing live TV of Discovery network on its Android app. Currently, these live TV channels are being tested on Android TV and mobile apps. However, the live TV channels are not found on the website or any other devices Discovery+ wherein is available.

Discovery+ testing live TV channels from Discovery network on its Android apps

The channels presently under testing includes Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigative Discovery, Discovery Science and Discovery Turbo. However, the sports channel from the network Eurosport is missing from the test.

These channels are available for free currently. However, Live TV channels might be brought under premium subscriptions once they are available on all devices.

Discovery channels are also available on telecom operator’s content aggregators like Jio TV, Airtel Xstream, and Vi movies & TV. Discovery+ recently onboarded premium content from BBC World as well in addition to the Discovery network’s content. Discovery+ Premium subscription currently costs INR 299/- annually.
