I think it's varying with locations, here in my pincode almost all Jio sites has 5G installed while Airtel has 5G only 1 in 3 sites here. Only my area airtel site has 5G, other neighbour sites has only 4G, because of that getting -85dbm Airtel 5G indoors operating at full power to cover more area using one site. On the other hand Jio 5G while being present in all sites and despite being nearest to me than Airtel gives only -105dbm signal and also another site signal overlapping in Jio 5G causing gNB to frequently change (same like my area airtel B40)
Mostly throughout Chennai I've seen only Airtel having 2 sector 5G deployment on every site. Even my area not even one site left without 5G now but Jio on the other hand has like 5G deployed only on their own towers rest rarely have it

Yes, airtel operates on 2 sectors only for 5G it's better for us, else they will mess it up and we will get 5G overlapping from multiple sectors. Currently facing this issue in Jio in my location. Already i am in middle of 2 jio 5g sectors causing frequent PCI switching on top of this another site jio 5g antenna pointing exactly my area site causing gNB changing issues as well. Waiting for airtel to fix thier handover issues(overlapping) in b40, I have some hopes that once all b40 upgraded to ericsson they will fix it over night.

Airtel is mixture of things right now in Chennai due to huawei ban. Their network is almost half Huawei and half ericsson now, due to which experience is not consistent. They abondend their B40 and focusing more only on FDD. Only Jio 4G is stable and optimised properly in Chennai with fiber backhaul to almost all sites. Only thing I hate in Jio is poor routing, pings are higher than airtel.
Rumman said swap is completed few months back only.

That( routing, pings) will never improve.

You said before 5G deployment started, that swapping has started will get completed within six months. Looks like full speed on Airtel must be crossing 250-260.
I said FDD swap not TDD. And about speeds it's not even capable for more than 200. Only 1 airport site with 4x4 FDD does 300 rest all 200s and under
