State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Chennai has notified that its Vasantham Gold prepaid plan which is currently available in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle won’t be available tomorrow onwards.

BSNL Chennai in a tweet highlighted that the Vasantham Gold prepaid plan will be expiring today in Chennai Telephones telecom circle including the Tamil Nadu circle.

The Vasantham Gold PV96 prepaid plan was launched by the telecom service provider back in January 3, 2020. The plan offered unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day to any network. The validity of the plan was initially 90 days, but in May it was rationalized down to 60 days.

While the validity of the plan was higher, calling and SMS benefits were only available for the first 21 days only. The plan was applicable for new connection, migration, and validity extensions with freebies.

The plan was initially launched with a promotional period of 90 days which further got an extension in April 2020 for a period of 90 days from April 2nd to June 30th in Chennai Telephones including Tamil Nadu circle.
