BSNL withdraws STV 1498 among four other STVs

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has withdrawn around five Special Tariff Voucher (STVs) yesterday under prepaid mobile services including the earlier reported withdrawal of STV 12 and STV 21.

BSNL Karnataka in a circular intimated the discontinuation of the five STVs effective 1st November 2020. BSNL has done away with STV 13, STV 20, STV 93, STV 111, and STV 1498. STV 13 and STV 20 are known as STV 12 and STV 21.

BSNL’s STV 1498 used to offer 91GB high-speed data with 365 days validity. BSNL’s STV 111 used to offer Rs 90 usage value along with 70 minutes of on-net calling. BSNL’s STV 93 used to offer free incoming calls + 120 Min free Outgoing calls to any net + 40 SMS free to any network in national roaming.

BSNL’s STV 13 offered 130 free local and national SMS with 7 days validity while BSNL’s STV 20 offered 265 free local and national SMS with 7 days validity.
