State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched three new postpaid plans at Rs 199, Rs 798, and Rs 999 effective tomorrow along with the withdrawal of Rs 99, Rs 225, Rs 325, Rs 799, and Rs 1125 postpaid plan effective tomorrow, according to a BSNL Chennai circular.
BSNL introduces Rs 199, Rs 798, and Rs 999 Postpaid Plan
BSNL’s Rs 199 postpaid plan will offer unlimited on-net voice calling with 300 minutes off-net calling in HPLMN and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi in the MTNL network. The postpaid plan offers 25GB of high-speed data with data rollover allowed up to 75GB. Post the freebies, you will be charged Rs 10.24/GB. The postpaid plans offer 100 SMS per day in HPLMN and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi in the MTNL network. It doesn’t offer any family connection, however.
BSNL’s Rs 798 postpaid plan will offer unlimited voice calling to any network in HPLMN and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi in the MTNL network. The postpaid plan offers 50GB of high-speed data with data rollover allowed upto 150GB. Post the freebies, you will be charged Rs 10.24/GB. The postpaid plan offers 100 SMS per day in HPLMN and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi in the MTNL network. It offers 2 family connections with unlimited voice calling, 50GB high-speed data, and 100 SMS per day with each separate family connnection.
BSNL’s Rs 999 postpaid plan will offer unlimited voice calling to any network in HPLMN and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi in the MTNL network. The postpaid plan offers 75GB of high-speed data with data rollover allowed up to 225GB. Post the freebies, you will be charged Rs 10.24/GB. The postpaid plan offers 100 SMS per day in HPLMN and national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi in the MTNL network. It offers 3 family connections with an unlimited voice calling facility, 75GB of high-speed data, and 100 SMS per day with each separate family connection.
The unlimited voice calling facility comes with a cap of 250 minutes per day outgoing minutes post which the customer will be charged at base plan tariff after consumption of 250 minutes per day for the rest of the day.
BSNL withdraws Rs 99, Rs 225, Rs 325, Rs 799, and Rs 1125 Postpaid Plans
BSNL is also withdrawing postpaid plans 99, 225, 325, 799, and 1125 effective 1st December 2020 with existing customers set to remain in the closed plan till further order. BSNL will not allow any new connection to be allowed in the corporate closed plans.
BSNL is offering Rs 25 discount for 3 months to the customers of Rs 99, Rs 225, and Rs 325 postpaid plan migrating to any higher plan. The same is a limited period offer for 90 days from the date of withdrawal of Rs 99, Rs 225, and Rs 325 postpaid plans.
BSNL is offering Rs 50 discount for 3 months to the customers of Rs 799 postpaid plan migrating to any higher plan. The same is a limited period offer for 90 days from the withdrawal of Rs 799 plan.
BSNL has also withdrawn all other postpaid plans for the retail customers with only six plans at Rs 199, Rs 399, Rs 525, Rs 798, Rs 999, and Rs 1525 part of BSNL’s offerings effective tomorrow. The existing customers of the closed plans will remain in the plan till further information. BSNL will not allow any new connection in the closed postpaid plans.
BSNL introduces Rs 150 and Rs 250 Data Add-On
BSNL has also introduced two new postpaid data add-ons effective tomorrow at Rs 150 and Rs 250. BSNL’s Rs 150 postpaid data add-on will offer 40GB high-speed free data while BSNL’s Rs 250 postpaid data add-on will offer 70GB high-speed free data.
Apart from this, there are another bunch of changes too. BSNL is offering free data rationalization for Rs 399 postpaid plan to 70GB with data rollover up to 210GB and Rs 525 postpaid plan to 85GB with data rollover up to 255GB. The data freebies for all the plans except the Rs 1525 postpaid plan are made limited plans with data charges of Rs 10.24/GB beyond free data usage for all psotpaid plans.
One can now get an additional family SIM with an unlimited voice facility with a postpaid plan 525 with no free data and SMS. BSNL has also closed all postpaid data/voice/SMS add-ons effective tomorrow. There will be an 11 month FMC for annual advance rental and 21 month FMC for the biennial advance rental for all postpaid plans.
