BSNL extends validity of STV 998 to 270 days, launches STV 247 & bundles PV 1999 with 2 Months Eros Now Entertainment

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended the validity of its Special Tariff Voucher (STV) 998, rationalized its Plan Voucher 1999 with content bundling and introduced STV 247 effective today.

According to the listing on BSNL Karnataka, BSNL Kerala, BSNL Chennai, and BSNL Tamil Nadu website, on the occasion of Holi, a new STV 247 has been introduced. BSNL STV 247 offers unlimited free voice calls in home and national roaming including the MTNL roaming area of Delhi and Mumbai, unlimited data with speed reduced to 80 kbps after 3 GB/day and 100 SMS/day free. The STV is valid for 30 calendar days.

The voice/SMS benefits under the voucher cannot be used to call/SMS premium numbers, IN numbers, international numbers, and other chargeable codes. The STV 247 is available through CTOPUP, Self-care and web portal. Self care activation (SMS to 123) keyword is STV VOICE247.

BSNL has also rationalized Plan Voucher 1999 with content bundling for two months. Eros Now Entertainment service for two months will be available with PV1999.

BSNL has also rationalized its STV998 effective today. STV998 will offer a validity of 270 days during the promotional offer. The offer is valid from 10 March to 07 June. The STV earlier used to offer 240 days of validity. STV 998 offers unlimited Data speed reduced to 80kbps after 2GB/day, PRBT for 2 months and Lokdhun content. Lokdhun content will be available for the first 240 days only.

BSNL Kerala had recently extended the validity of three STVs effective 01 March. The validity of STV 97, STV 399 and STV 998 was revised to 18 days, 80 days and 240 days respectively. It also recently rolled an advance rental option for the postpaid subscribers. New Vasantham Plan offered in the Tamil Nadu circle has also expired on 29th February 2020.
