State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is withdrawing two postpaid plans Plan 149 and Plan 725 from Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle effective today, while it will introducing Plan Voucher 2399 under GSM postpaid mobile services in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle from tomorrow.
The development was noted by BSNL Chennai in two separate tweets earlier today intimating BSNL Chennai customers about the revision in postpaid portfolio as the new month kicks in.
Plan 149 and Plan 725 stand withdrawn from today in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle. BSNL’s Vasantham Gold PV 96 also stands withdrawn effective today in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle since BSNL has chosen not to extend the promotional offer.
BSNL Chennai in a separate tweet stated, “Dial *123# from your mobile. If you are on Vasantham gold, change to a new plan.”
BSNL Chennai has also introduced Plan Voucher 2399 in Chennai and Tamil Nadu effective tomorrow. The prepaid plan which was launched by BSNL in May in select circles has now been brought in Chennai and will be available for subscription through the CTOPUP method and web portal only.
PV 2399 offers unlimited free voice calls, 100 free SMS/day, free Personalized Ring Back Tone (PRBT) for the first 60 days, with a 600 days validity. Since the plan is voice focused, it doesn’t offer data benefits.
