State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Chennai Telephones is offering auto validity extension for the withdrawn Nesam Gold Plan under GSM prepaid mobile services with effect from February 15, 2020.
BSNL prepaid subscribers who are on Nesam Gold Plan will be migrated to the corporate per minute plan with applicable freebies and validity. Rs. 75 will be deducted from the main account balance on the first day of grace period 1 (GP-1). Customers will not get the free personalized ring back tone (PRBT) service with the corporate per minute plan.
The telecom service provider had withdrawn Nesam Gold Plan with effect from January 1, 2020, in Chennai, including the Tamil Nadu circle.
Nesam Gold Plan offered, 1000 seconds local and national on-net calls, and 500 seconds local and national off-net calls. It also offered 25 local and national SMS per month to any network for 60 days and 200 MB data for 15 days. The plan came with a validity of 60 days and cost Rs. 49.
State-run BSNL Chennai Telephones has recently announced the validity extension of plan using special tariff voucher or combo voucher recharge during GP-I and GP-II period for prepaid mobile services. The telecom operator is also offering an auto validity extension for Plan 8.
