MTNL upgrades Broadband Plans in Delhi to offer up to 250% more data

State-owned telecommunications service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited in January revised all of its 8 Freedom Unlimited plans between Rs 699 to Rs 2299 for the Delhi region. The maximum benefit is added in the Freedom ULD-2299-Combo plan which is now providing 2.5 times more data at the same price while the other 7 plans are revised to offer 1.5 times or 150% more data.

MTNL Freedom ULD-699 which was previously giving 60 GB of monthly data at Rs 699 is now providing 150 GB data. Similarly, the Freedom ULD-849 plan is upgraded to 200 GB up from 80 GB of data. Freedom ULD-999 is also revised from earlier 100 GB to 250 GB of monthly data.

Freedom ULD-1099 plan is updated to provide 300 GB data instead of 120 GB while the data cap for Freedom ULD-1299 is increased from 150 GB to 375 GB. Likewise, Freedom ULD-1449 plan now gives 425 GB data against the earlier 170 GB and Freedom ULD-1999 plan’s monthly data allowance is increased from 200 GB to 500 GB.

All the above-mentioned plans are having 1 Mbps of post FUP speed while the Freedom ULD-2299-Combo has a higher 2 Mbps FUP speed. This plan is also revised to offer 700 GB data instead of 200 GB data. MTNL has only made changes in monthly data of these plans, other benefits like upload/download speed, post FUP speed, free calls, and call charges remain unchanged.
