OnlyTech had initially in February reported the introduction of a monthly charge of Rs. 99 and Rs. 199 for the customers who opt for the service of bundled Google Nest Mini and Google Nest Hub smart devices with the annual payment of selected BSNL broadband plans. BSNL Chennai had back then stated that offer was available on a promotional period of 90 days with effect from February 18, 2020, in the Chennai circle. BSNL Chennai yesterday in a notice has reintroduced the promotional offer after it lapsed earlier this month. Interestingly, the telecom service provider didn’t issue an extension notice similar to the Work@Home plan, but instead notified an introduction of a promotional offer for a period of 90 days in Chennai Telephones effective 23rd May 2020, five days after the initial promotional offer expired.
According to a BSNL Chennai circular dated 23th May which went live on its live at 7 PM yesterday, it has introduced a monthly of Rs 99 and Rs 199 for customers who opt for the bundled Google Nest Mini or Google Nest Hub Smart devices under the annual payment of selected BSNL Broadband (DSL/Bharat Fiber) plans.
BSNL Broadband subscribers can get Google Nest Mini at one time charge of Rs 99 pm for 13 months if subscribed to a 12 months plan with fixed monthly charges greater than Rs 799.
BSNL Broadband subscribers who are on a 12 months plan with fix monthly charges greater than Rs 1999 can get Google Nest Hub at one time charge of Rs 199 p.m for 13 months.
The eligible subscribers need to subscribe to the bundle on BSNL online protal by paying the annual plan susbcription fees in advance and requisite one time charges as applicable.
In other, BSNL Chennai is offering free SIM to its new customers who do a First Recharge of Rs 100 or more. The free SIM offer is live for the next 5 days.
