Vodafone Idea on Wednesday in a u-turn revisited the drawing board to label its increased offerings in its Rs 98 Data Plan as a limited time Double Data offer. The Rs 98 Data Plan now carries Double Data Offer tag with availability expanded across the country bar few states.

According to the prepaid plan listings on Vodafone India website, the Rs 98 Data Pack now is part of the Double Data offer. The Double Data Offer is available in 19 telecom circles bar Rajasthan, Assam, and North East wherein Vodafone Idea is still offering 6 GB of high speed data. The listing went live on Vodafone Idea’s website few hours back.

West Bengal, UP West, UP East, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa, Kerala, Kolkata, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Chennai, Delhi, Bihar, and Andhra Pradesh are the circles wherein this Double Data Offer is live.

To recall, Vodafone Idea had recently upgraded the offerings on its Rs 98 Data Pack to offer 100% data benefits to match Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel data vouchers at the same price. Back then, the new offerings were only live in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Delhi, Mumbai, and UP East with later it being extended to Gujarat, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. and Maharashtra & Goa.

Vodafone Idea interestingly remains the lone private telecom service provider to offer standalone validity on its 12 GB high speed data voucher for now with Jio and Airtel offering validity coterminous with the base plan validity.

The Double Data offer is now available on 4 prepaid plans, Rs 299 unlimited prepaid plan, Rs 449 unlimited prepaid plan, Rs 699 unlimited prepaid plan and Rs 98 Data Pack.
