State-owned BSNL Calcutta Telephones has launched FRC 106 and 107 with effect from February 1, 2020. BSNL has also launched prepaid tariff 153 with effect from February 7, 2020, and voice STV 22 with effect from February 10, 2020. The telecom operator has withdrawn plan 1097 along with STV 164.
Tariff details of BSNL FRC 106 and FRC 107
FRC 106 and FRC 107 is available for new BSNL subscribers. Customers need to recharge with Rs. 106 to activate per second plan, or Rs. 107 to activate per minute plan. Migration or extension of the same plan can be done through a recharge of PV- 74 or PV- 75.
Both, FRC 106 and 107 offers unlimited local, national, and roaming calls to any network, including MTNL region, 1 GB per day data, beyond 1 GB unlimited data at 40 Kbps, and 100 SMS per day for 24 days. The pack is valid for 28 days.
After freebies, FRC 106 cost Rs. 0.02 per second for local calls and Rs. 0.04 per second for national calls to any network. FRC 107 cost Re. 1 per minute for local calls and Rs. 1.3 per minute for national calls to any network. Local and national SMS cost Rs. 0.80 and 1.20 per SMS, respectively.
Tariff details of BSNL Prepaid Plan 153
Plan 153 offers unlimited local, national, and roaming voice calls to any network, including the MTNL region. 1 GB per day data, beyond 1 GB unlimited data at 40 Kbps, for the rest of the day till midnight. It also includes free caller tunes and 100 SMS per day. The pack is valid for 90 days. However, the freebies are valid only for 28 days.
After freebies, on-net voice calls cost Rs. 0.15 per minute, off-net voice calls cost Rs. 0.40 per minute and SMS cost Rs. 0.15 per SMS. National roaming on-net and off-net voice calls cost Rs. 0.15 per minute and Rs. 0.40 per minute, respectively.
BSNL Voice STV 22 details
Voice special tariff voucher 22 offers local and national calls at Rs. 0.30 per minute. The pack is valid for 28 days and cost Rs. 22.
Withdrawal of prepaid plan 1097 and STV 164
BSNL Calcutta has also withdrawn the prepaid plan 1097 and special tariff voucher 164 with effect from February 10, 2020. Plan 1097 offered unlimited local, national, and roaming voice calls in any network, including the MTNL region, 25 GB data, and 1000 SMS on any network. The plan was valid for 365 days.
STV 164 offered unlimited local, national, and roaming voice calls in any network, excluding the MTNL region. 1 GB per day data, beyond 1 GB unlimited data at 40 Kbps, for the rest of the day till midnight. The plan is valid for 30 days.
State-run BSNL has recently launched a new Bharat Fiber Broadband combo PAN India plan ‘100GB CUL’. The plan is available on a promotional basis with effect from February 5, 2020, and up to March 31, 2020.
