Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India

Xiaomi has launched the new Redmi Note 9 series smartphones at an event in India, today. Both, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is available in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black color options.

Redmi Note 9 Pro specifications

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 6.67 inch IPS LCD with 1080 x 2400 pixels and brightness up to 450 nits. Xiaomi is using Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back with a plastic frame. Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset paired with up to 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It also has a dedicated MicroSD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.

Redmi Note 9 Pro boasts a quad-rear camera setup of 48 MP f/1.8 primary sensor, 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. It has a 16 MP front camera on the punch-hole display. The device is fueled by a non-removable 5020 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Max sports a 6.67 inch FHD+ IPS LCD with brightness up to 450 nits. Similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro, Xiaomi is using Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back with a plastic frame on this phone. Redmi Note 9 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It also has a dedicated MicroSD card slot that supports up to 512 GB.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a quad-rear camera setup of 64 MP f/1.9 primary sensor, 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. It comes with a 32 MP front camera on the punch-hole display. The device is fueled by a non-removable 5020 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology.

Both devices support Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual sim 4G VoLTE and USB Type-C reversible connector. Both come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass.

Redmi Note 9 Pro is priced at Rs. 12,999 for 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant and Rs. 15,999 for 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is priced at Rs. 14,999 for 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant, Rs. 16,999 for 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant, and Rs. 18,999 for 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant.

Redmi Note 9 Pro will be available for purchase starting March 17, 2020, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will be available for purchase starting March 25, 2020. Launch offers will be revealed on March 16, 2020. Both devices will be available on Amazon India, Xiaomi India e-store, and all leading retail outlets in India.
