Two weeks after launching Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, Xiaomi has now unveiled new affordable wireless Redmi Earbuds S in India. These earbuds are same as Redmi AirDots S which was launched in China earlier this year.
Redmi Earbuds S Specifications
Each bud weighs 4.1g and are IPX4 rated, i.e. sweat and splash-proof. The Redmi Earbuds S can run for a total of 12 hours combined with the battery in the case while the buds alone will last for 4 hours of playtime.
For connectivity, these buds use Bluetooth 5.0 with 10m wireless range and have low-latency mode (122ms) feature. Each bud has a lithium-ion battery of 43 mAh capacity which takes to fully charge while the charging case of Redmi Earbuds S has 3000 mAh battery and it takes 2 hours to charge.
These earbuds are compatible with Android, iOS, Mac OS and Windows devices. In order to pair, take out the buds from the charging case and wait for 2–3 seconds so that earbuds automatically connect with each other. Then enable Bluetooth on the device which would be connected, and when the indicator of the left or right earbud slowly blinks white, search for ‘Redmi Earbuds S’ on the device.

The Redmi Earbuds S is priced at Rs 1,799 and can be brought currently from mi.com, Mi homes, Mi Studios, Mi Stores, Mi Commerce and Amazon. It is expected to arrive at the retail stores soon.
