Vivo Y35 with 6.58-inch 90Hz display, Snapdragon 680 SoC launched in India

Vivo, on Monday, launched the Y35 smartphone in India. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ display, triple rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs FunTouch 12 OS based on Android 12 OS out of the box and uses up to 8GB of internal storage as extended RAM for smooth performance.

Vivo Y35 specifications

Vivo Y35 features a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ (2408 × 1080 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 96-percent NTSC color gamut, and up to 550 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm (4 x 2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold & 4 x 1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver) chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. It also supports a microSD card for expandable storage via a dedicated slot.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y35 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging technology. It can deliver up to 2 days of standby time or up to 14.3 hours of online HD movie streaming on a single charge.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G VoLTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging and OTG. Sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Lastly, the phone measures 164.3 × 76.1 × 8.28 mm and 188 grams.

Vivo Y35 is priced at Rs. 18,499 for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Agate Black and Dawn Gold color options and is available to purchase via the Vivo India website and other retailers in the country. Launch offers include Rs. 750 instant discounts on HDFC credit and debit cards and a cashback of Rs. 1,000 using ICICI, SBI, Kotak, or OneCard till September 30.
