Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has expanded the availability of its recently launched Rs 148 prepaid plan making its presence in 3 telecom circles across the country. The prepaid plan is now available in the Andhra Pradesh circle apart from Delhi and Gujarat.
Vi’s Rs 148 prepaid plan offers unlimited calling, 1GB high-speed data per day, 100 local and national SMS per day along with a validity of 18 days. On the non-teleco benefits end, the prepaid plan offers a validity of Vi Movies and TV content.
The prepaid plan was brought in last month by the company which was initially introduced in Gujarat in LSA on 12th November followed by the subsequent expansion to Delhi LSA on 19th November. Vi’s regulatory filings with TRAI however note the introduction on the prepaid plan in Delhi LSA as well on 12th November even though the prepaid plan was only rolled out on the website on 19th November.
Vi has separately recently expanded the availability of its Rs 99 prepaid plan and Rs 1197 prepaid plan making the same available to all Vi customers across the country;.
