Vi (formerly Vodafone Idea) has strengthened its partnership with ZEE5 with the rollout of ZEE5 Premium bundled packs which will offer one year of ZEE5 Premium membership at no additional cost. The offer is available on select prepaid plans starting from Rs 355 and going up to Rs 2595. The tieup comes merely days after ZEE5 Premium content left Vi Movies and TV. Going forward, ZEE5 Premium membership will only be available with the said bundled packs.
Vi’s Rs 355 data pack is seemingly an upgraded version of its Rs 251 Data pack with 50GB high-speed data and 1-year access to ZEE5 Premium membership bundled in the data pack with a validity of 28 days.
Vi’s Rs 405 prepaid plan is offering unlimited calling, 90GB high-speed data, 1 year access to ZEE5 Premium membership, and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 28 days.
Vi’s Rs 595 prepaid plan is offering unlimited calling, 2GB high-speed data per day, 1 year access to ZEE5 Premium membership, and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 56 days.
Vi’s Rs 795 prepaid plan is offering unlimited calling, 2GB high-speed data per day, 1-year access to ZEE5 Premium membership, and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 84 days.
Vi’s Rs 2595 prepaid plan is offering unlimited calling, 2GB high-speed data per day, 1-year access to ZEE5 Premium membership, and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 365 days.
Apart from these the prepaid plans will also offer Rs 125 assured bonus cash to play your favourite games on MPL and Rs 75 discount daily on food orders from Zomato.
Vi customers will have recharge with minimum Rs 219 unlimited plan to continue enjoying ZEE5 Premium membership during the subscription period. Incase they make subsequent recharges of the bundled ZEE5 Premium packs despite having an active ZEE5 Premium subscription then Vi will offer them extra 6GB data at no extra cost in addition to other teleco benefits available on that recharge pack. Vi however will not offer ZEE5 Premium subscription again in case the subsequent recharge is on top of the above mentioned recharge packs.

For the benefit of non-Hindi speaking users, there is an extensive library of movies and shows in 11 other languages including Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Gujarati.
How to activate free ZEE5 Premium membership on Vi?
The ZEE5 Premium membership activation can only be done once by the customer who on subsequent recharge of the bundled packs will see a message that he/she has already activated ZEE5 earlier. After undertaking recharge of ZEE5 bundled pack from any source, Vi will send a confirmation SMS about the successful recharge which will carry a ZEE5 activation link which he/she has to click to activate the ZEE5 Premium annual subscription.
This will open up a webpage where he/she will be validated through the OTP process post which he/she will see an activate now button with a message requesting to click the button. On clicking the button, ZEE5 subscription will be activated after which ZEE5 will send a message to the user with username and password which can be used to log into ZEE5.
