Vi announces Independence Day offer with extra data and OTT benefits

India’s third-largest telecommunication service provider, Vodafone Idea (Vi), has announced the Independence Day offer with additional data and Over-The-Top (OTT) benefits for prepaid customers. The offers are available from August 13 to August 28, 2024, and can be availed through the Vi App.

Vi Independence Day offer details

The Vi Independence Day offer is available for prepaid customers recharging with half-yearly or annual plans. The company is providing up to 50GB of additional high-speed data beyond the daily data limit. For the half-yearly plans, the extra data is valid for 45 days, whereas for the annual plan, it is valid for 90 days. Moreover, Vi is also offering a one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video at no additional cost to customers opting for annual plans.

Here’s the highlight of the offer:

Customers recharging through the Vi App will receive an additional discount on the annual plans. According to Vi, recharges of Rs. 3499, Rs. 3699, and Rs. 3799 will get a discount of Rs. 50, Rs. 75, and Rs. 100, respectively.

In addition, Vi is offering discounts on over 30 popular brand vouchers, including 4 percent off on Zomato food orders, 10 percent off on PVR movie tickets, and 12 percent off on Pantaloons shopping vouchers. Customers can get these gift cards from Vi Shop.
