Tata Communications bags Unified License (VNO) authorization for National Area

DoT grants UL-VNO license to Tata Communications with Unified License service authorisation.

Tata Communications Limited last month bagged a fresh Unified License – Virtual Network Operator [UL(VNO)] license from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). The company’s authorisation was issued by the Telecom Department on 29th November 2021 vide application ID VN20210124.

The license was signed by the Telecom Department three days earlier on 26th November 2021 vide license number 20-1246/2021-AS-I. The VNO license includes authorization for Unified License (UL) service on a pan-India basis with DoT stating the Service Area as ‘National Area’.
