Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab A7 in India. It comes in Dark Gray, Gold, and Silver color options and features a 10.4-inch display with 80 percent screen to body ratio that provides a vivid and dynamic viewing experience. Galaxy Tab A7 is equipped with quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos surround sound.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 features a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ (1200 x 2000 pixels) TFT display with a 5:3 aspect ratio. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 (4 x 2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4 x 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver) chipset paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports microSD cards of up to 1TB.

In terms of optics, Galaxy Tab A7 comes with a single rear camera setup of an 8 MP primary sensor that can record Full-HD videos at 30fps. The tablet has a 5MP camera on the front for taking selfies or making video calls. Galaxy Tab A7 comes with a non-removable 7040mAh battery.

Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP/ LE support, GPS /A-GPS/ Glonass/ Beidou/ Galileo, 4G LTE (optional), a 3.5mm audio port, and a USB Type-C port for charging and USB On-The-Go. Sensors included are proximity, compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light, and hall sensor. The tablet measures 157.4 x 247.6 x 7.0 mm and weighs 476 grams (Wi-Fi version)/ 477 grams (LTE variant).

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Wi-Fi only variant is priced at Rs. 17,999, while the LTE variant cost Rs. 21,999. It is available for pre-booking via Samsung India e-store, select retail stores, and leading online portals in the country. Customers pre-booking the Galaxy Tab A7 can get the keyboard cover at Rs. 1875 instead of Rs. 4499, and an additional cashback up to Rs. 2000 when paying with ICICI credit and debit cards.
