Samsung Galaxy S20 series receives price cuts in India ahead of Galaxy Unpacked event

Recently, Samsung India has also reduced the prices of the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 mid-range smartphones.

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S21 series at Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event on January 14, 2021. Ahead of the launch, the company has dropped the prices of the Galaxy S20 series smartphones in India. Recently, Samsung India has also reduced the prices of the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 mid-range smartphones.

According to 91mobiles, Samsung Galaxy S20 now costs Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone was launched in India for Rs. 59,499. Samsung Galaxy S20+ 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model was launched in India for Rs. 72,990. After receiving a price cut of Rs. 15,991, the phone now cost Rs. 56,999. However, Samsung India e-store and Flipkart are selling the Galaxy S20+ for Rs. 54,999, which is Rs. 2,000 cheaper than the current price cut.

Galaxy S20 Ultra 12GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has received a price cut of Rs. 10,000, and is now priced at Rs. 76,999. Earlier, the smartphone cost Rs. 86,999. These price cuts are only available via offline retail stores in the country. Further, the Galaxy S20 series price cuts will be available in India until January 31, 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 smartphones have recently received a price cut of Rs. 2,000 in India. The Samsung Galaxy A71 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is now priced at Rs. 27,499. Samsung Galaxy A51 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant now cost Rs. 20,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration is now available for Rs. 22,499. The new prices are reflecting on the Samsung India e-store, Flipkart, and Amazon India website.
