Samsung has launched the Galaxy S20 FE 5G variant with Snapdragon 865 SoC in India. The phone was launched in the US alongside the Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant in September 2020. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G runs on Android 11 OS out of the box with One UI 3.1 customization on top and comes with enhanced Knox Security. It is also IP68 certified for dust and water resistance.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7 nm+) chipset paired with Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. It also supports a microSD card, up to 1TB, but uses a shared SIM slot.
In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G sports a triple rear camera setup of a 12-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor with OIS and Dual Pixel PDAF support, an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS support, and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. For taking selfies and making video calls, it has a 32-megapixel f/2.2 camera with EIS support.
The phone comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, 15W fast wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging technology. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE, 5G, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light, hall sensor, magnetometer, and an in-display fingerprint reader.
Lastly, the phone measures 159.8 x 74.5 x 8.4 mm and weighs 190 grams.
